Our Story

The story of Francesca Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta began in 2008, born from a desire for independence and a deep-seated passion for the restaurant industry. Founded by brothers Salvatore and Gino Reina in downtown Glen Rock, the restaurant was named in honor of their Sicilian grandmother, serving as a tribute to their heritage and family roots. While the journey began with a leap of faith and a commitment to learning the craft from the ground up, the pizzeria quickly evolved into a community-oriented establishment dedicated to serving high-quality pizza, pasta, & meals.

Adam Vuksanic

Adam Vuksanic is the Co-Owner of Francesca Pizza & Pasta, where he has dedicated more than 18 years to the business. Starting as a high school employee, Adam worked his way through every level of the operation, eventually becoming manager and then co-owner. Today, he helps oversee two pizzerias, two ghost kitchens, and a school lunch program, bringing hands-on experience, leadership, and a deep commitment to quality and customer service. His journey reflects a strong work ethic and a passion for growing a family-oriented business while serving the local community.

Salvatore Reina

Salvatore has worked in the restaurant business since 14 years old. He completed his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Stony Brook University and like many people started behind desk. His heart was still in the restaurant business and at age 26 opened Francesca Pizza & Pasta. He's currently obsessed w/ golf and Nas his favorite rapper... of course.

Gino Reina

Gino has been in the restaurant business since 2008 and brings 30+ years of experience across the investment management industry. Gino is Head of U.S. Implementation in Mercer’s Investment Partnership Group (IPG), partnering with large institutional clients globally to communicate portfolio solutions and oversee the implementation and ongoing management of private equity portfolios. Gino earned a BBA in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University, has called Glen Rock home for 20+ years with a spouse and two children, and (outside of work) is an avid—and slightly crazy—ultramarathon runner.

Jeff Lucca

From a young age i've always had a passion for food and the restaurant industry. That passion led me to become an owner of a pizzeria, where I enjoy creating great meals and serving the community every day. I believe that quality food, strong relationships, and attention to detail are the foundation of a successful business. I'm proud to turn something I love into a career.
